A talk by Whitney Cox, Lecturer in Sanskrit, School of Oriental and African Studies.

Whitney Cox is Lecturer in Sanskrit in the Department of South Asian Languages and Cultures in the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies. His scholarly interests include Sanskrit and Tamil literature and literary theory, the intellectual and cultural history of South India, and the study of medieval Saivism. Dr. Cox is one of the co-editors of the forthcoming Language, Culture, and Power: New Directions in South Asian Studies in Honor of Sheldon Pollock.
